Kit Lintin (b.1996) is a British artist living and working in London. Since gaining her BA in Fine Art, she has exhibited across the UK with both solo and group shows in London. Lintin’s work combines traditional still life painting with contemporary surrealist compositions, exploring how painting can recontextualise everyday objects to reveal their true narrative potential.
Her recent paintings reimagine familiar objects from daily life, using oil paint to highlight subtle details and moments of unexpected charm. Often suggesting a human presence without fully revealing it, her open ended scenes invite viewers to explore shifting interpretations between reality and imagination. Through muted tones, deep shadows and striking colour contrasts, she creates intimate compositions where objects hold enigmatic qualities and encourage introspection.
