London’s biggest artistic community

Founded in 1992, Wimbledon Art Studios is home to over 350 artists, designers and makers working across four studio sections - Yellow, Red, Blue and Green - at 10 Riverside Yard in South West London. Rooted in a spirit of openess, collaboration, and experimentation, we provide affordable studio spaces with 24/7 access and monthly rolling contracts, so artists can develop their practice without long-term commitment.

Beyond providing, affordable, high-quality workspaces, Wimbledon Art Studios is committed to engaging with the wider community. Twice a year, we open our doors for the Wimbledon Art Fair, where resident artists exhibit and sell work directly to over 10,000 visiting collectors with 0% commission taken. Throughout the year, workshops, seminars, and open-studio events create further opportunities for the public to connect with artists and experience work in the place it’s made.

OUR MISSION & VALUES

Since 1992, Wimbledon Art Studios has been supporting artists at every stage of their journey - from first-time renters to established names building long-term practices. Our mission is to cultivate a secure, inclusive, and dynamic space where artistic vision comes to life.

We believe in the power of creativity and aim to provide a platform that inspires and enables artistic expression. Over more than three decades, our studios have grown to support both emerging and established artists and makers as they develop their craft, collaborate with others, and reach new heights in their artistic careers.
