My relationship with clay began many years ago in Hungary, where I first studied ceramics under the guidance of experienced ceramicists.
After many years away from the material, I rediscovered clay here in London, and was drawn once again to its quiet, tactile and transformative qualities.
My practice is deeply connected to nature. I explore and reinterpret organic forms, textures and colours, taking inspiration from waterside landscapes, eroded surfaces and the subtle rhythms found in the natural world. These influences emerge in my sculptures, totems and vessels through layered textures, flowing forms and an emphasis on the tactile qualities of the clay.
I am fascinated by the endless possibilities of working with clay — the balance between control and spontaneity, and the way a material can retain traces of the hand that shaped it.
I primarily work with stoneware, while my jewellery collections are created using porcelain and black clay. Each piece is hand-built and entirely unique. Through form, texture and material, I aim to create work that invites touch and a connection with the natural world.
