I’m new to having a studio and calling myself an artist, having spent years dabbling in various arts and craft mediums. I love working with different textures, making relief images, sculpture and wearable art.  I’m currently focused on depicting real and fantasy creatures, plants and scenes that celebrate and hopefully inspire care for the natural world. I’m particularly interested in using recycled textiles, as well as plastic/waste materials that cannot easily be recycled to challenge our throwaway culture.
