The Over Thinker II | Mike Thebridge

£600.00
sold out

Artist: Mike Thebridge
H: 40cm | W: 30cm

Inspired by Rodin's classic, 'The Thinker' this piece looks at a problem of the modern age. I often feel paralyzed by thought and overthinking, which frequently stops me from feeling connected to the present moment and other people, taking me away. So this piece is a reminder to be mindful of our thoughts. let them go and reconnect with our present. Human experience is eclectic and chaotic, with many contrasting sensations, emotions and thoughts. This piece reflects that mixed bag of being, each medium is like a different language describing the subject differently.

Nothing endures but change and this mixed-media painting is a celebration of that. The edges of the painting are left loose and the canvas is left raw to give an unfinished look, to reflect that everyone's life is a work in progress.

Delivery may include additional charges. Please contact the artist to arrange it directly.
