Unlock the potential of art and embrace boundless self-expression! Come join our art workshop, where you can create without limits, free from the constraints of a specific subject. Dive into the world of abstract art and discover the beauty of textured masterpieces. With the guidance of an experienced artist, you'll learn to make artwork that reflects your unique vision, perfect for displaying proudly on your wall. Don't miss this opportunity to let your creativity shine!

This textured art workshop offers a unique and tactile experience for aspiring artists and enthusiasts alike. This creative journey delves into the world of textures, allowing participants to explore a wide array of techniques and materials to add depth, dimension, and a sensory element to their artwork. Through hands-on instruction and experimentation, students discover the power of texture in conveying emotions, stories, and meaning within their creations. Whether it's using palette knives to create impasto effects, incorporating mixed media elements, or experimenting with various textured surfaces, this workshop encourages artistic expression dynamically and engagingly. Participants will leave with not only a deeper understanding of textured art but also a portfolio of innovative and textured masterpieces that showcase their newfound skills and creativity.

The class is limited to 6 guests to guarantee that everyone receives the necessary assistance to complete their artwork.

In this class, we'll begin with engaging exercises to ignite your artistic spirit and immerse you in the creative zone.

In the second part of the class, it's time to turn your artistic ideas into reality. You'll dive into the fascinating world of textured art as you work on your masterpiece, taking inspiration from the examples provided or your art references. Our workshop is designed to make creating art easy and enjoyable! After spending the morning exploring different art materials and trying out some examples, you'll get to work on your textured art piece. Keep in mind that some materials may need time to dry. You can choose to pick up your finished artwork the next day or have it delivered to you for an extra fee. This workshop is all about letting your creativity shine and expressing yourself through art.

The class is 6 hours long with a 45-minute lunch break.

During the class, you'll learn:

How to create textures on a canvas.

Create a pleasing composition to attract more attention.

Art medium discussion - learn types of textures and paint medium.

Colour hunt - Choosing your correct colour palette.

Discover unique materials that can amplify seduction of interest.

Creating a focal point. Layering.

Pouring techniques.

How to use gold foil and metallic inks.

Finishing touch.

Sealing & drying time.

We require attendees to bring along a photo reference as inspiration. Most of our guests can complete their artwork on time, but this depends on the complexity of the reference. We advise choosing a simple reference, considering the duration of the class.

To facilitate a smooth and enjoyable workshop for all, we kindly request that participants arrive 10 minutes in advance. Please be advised that we are unable to accommodate late arrivals exceeding a 10-minute delay to prevent disruptions to the ongoing class and inconvenience to others. Given that our studio is on the first floor, it would be unfair to ask other guests to wait while the class has already started to assist latecomers downstairs. We won’t be able to answer texts or calls after the extra 10-minute allowance.

A friendly reminder: Two days before your class, we'll be sending you essential information to ensure you're well-prepared for the upcoming session.

Our workshops have received 5-star reviews, and we look forward to welcoming you to enjoy a relaxing painting class while acquiring valuable technical skills. Your comfort and success are our priorities, and we can't wait to share an enjoyable and enriching experience with you.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 3 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.
