Mai Suzanne Fox is a London based designer, maker and teacher. Her bespoke designs range from tailored men’s suits and ladies’ formal-wear to the simple minimalist separates so well suited for everyday use. She also works within the theater costume and cosplay world creating otherworldly outfits and headpieces offering the wearer an escape to a world of fantasy and magic.

Her private classes are tailored to her student’s needs, skill level and personal goal to best impart a solid understanding of pattern cutting and sewing skills. Whether you are a “never-threaded-a-needle-before-in-my-life” beginner or are pretty comfortable with your French seams, Mai’s day and evening classes will guide you through all the steps in a friendly environment to help you reach your sewing goal.

Mai was first taught sewing and pattern cutting at home by her mother, an experienced historical dressmaker, assisting with orders from lace flower applique on wedding veils to cutting out a 19th century ladies driving suit. She later moved to London to attend the London College of Fashion, expanding her knowledge and pursuing her passion. Eventually, she decided to fully realize her ambition and opened a business making and designing bespoke garments for private customers.
