“I am delighted to have found Wimbledon Art Studios. Since I arrived at the end of 2022, I have found the Community to be incredibly welcoming, friendly, kind and supportive. The office is always on hand to help with anything you need. I have a small studio in the Red area, where the natural light is also very good, imperative for my work. Having my own space to escape and create, is a godsend for me, to do nothing but my art, without distractions. I find it a very inspiring atmosphere, with such a diverse spectrum of creativity around me, is exciting. A huge plus, is also being able to participate in the twice yearly Art Fair, which is buzzing and fun. Showcasing my work to the public and welcoming them into my studio. I feel honoured to be part of this Community, surrounded by likeminded and extraordinarily talented artists.”

- Ishbel Fleming-Boyd, Painter, Studio 263

“I never knew how much I was craving for my own creative space, until I found Wimbledon Art Studios. Setting up the Studio the way I want it to be, creating the space where I am able to try, to fail and to succeed is a blessing to me alone. But being part of this diverse community of talented, creative and inspiring individuals who you can share the highs and lows with, makes the WAS so special to me. I am very grateful to have found my studio, which helped me find myself again and build my business”

- Martin Keppler, Crafter and Maker, Studio 171

“Getting a studio at Wimbledon Art Studios was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my art career. Being here with many great artists and makers has imbued me with a wealth of knowledge, I could not have progressed without it. I have a wonderfully bright dedicated space that allows me to paint unhindered by outside distractions, a must for any Artist.”

- Alice Lucy Art, Painter, Studio 138

“When I arrived at Wimbledon Arts Studios 5 years ago I had no  idea how much it would change my practice for the better. Having my own space to create in but being surrounded by like minded and interesting artists has had a very positive effect on my work, and the art fair has put my work in front of many more people than I could  have ever imagined. There is a thriving community of ceramicists and potters here which means that help, advice and encouragement is always on hand which makes being here a joy”

- Carolyn Tripp, Ceramicist, Studio 605

“I have been an artist resident at Wimbledon Art Studios for almost eight years, and I started with a small studio, and now I’m in a big studio of their new studios’ developments. I don’t see myself changing to another studio provider in London for several crucial reasons for an artist like myself. Every year, my career goes to another level, and every time I change and move to another new studio here, it is because I go for the better. It is all reliable here, and everything works to my every year’s demands, and it is what is important to me.”

- Pedro Sousa Louro, Painter and Mixed Media, Studio 166

“Couldn’t be happier with my studio in the Green section, there are great facilities including; heating, high white walls and good natural light which is perfect for painting and showcasing finished work. My surrounding neighbours are a diverse range of creatives who make it a lovely, friendly atmosphere to work in. Having such a good framer and photographer based within the studio complex is a real perk as it makes commercial ventures run much smoother. The open studios are a fabulous platform to show work, gain feedback and chat to repeat visitors! Art & people workshops are also incredibly useful.”

- Kit Lintin, Painter, Studio 164

“I knew of WAS as a visitor initially having been to the fair in the past. When it was time for me to move to a studio, it had to be there so I was delighted to find a space. The community is very welcoming and supportive no matter what type of art you do. As a perfumer and artist, I was able to further develop my skills through the network of artists and various workshops they offer. I am forever grateful for WAS and the great support they provide us and I cannot recommend them enough!”

- Mabelle O’rama, Olfactive Studio, Studio 310

“Wimbledon Art Studios is unique! You have a safe space to be creative, you can become part of a community and the icing on the cake is, twice a year you can open your door to meet the public and have the opportunity to sell your work at Wimbledon Art Fair”

- Jilly Vainer, Sculptor, Studio 313

“We have been at Wimbledon Art Studios since 2015; it is a fantastic location for our business. The studio complex is professionally managed and always staffed during office hours. The team are friendly and helpful, and the semi-annual open studio / art fairs are of a standard not matched by any other art studios we know of. We are lucky enough to photograph artwork for many of the artists working at WAS. The talent and wide range of practices on show here make it an inspiring place to have our studio”

- Atelier Sturgess, Specialist Photography of Fine Art and Limited Edition Art Reproduction Prints, Studio 33

“WAS is a good place for the inspiration and creation of my paintings. In addition to having the opportunity to exhibit my work twice a year, I am surrounded by artists who are willing to share their experiences”

- Luis Espinoza, Painter, Studio 514
