“I paint mainly in oils on canvas, boards and paper.  I also make etching and lithographic prints.  Works vary in size from 15cm x 20cm  to 180cm x 120cm.

My paintings are usually colourful with brush marks and other work to the paint surface being visible to the viewer.  This is important to me.

My first exhibition was in 1989.  There have been seven others since then, all in London except the last, which was in Kent.

Most of my paintings have their figurative origins visible but recently I see that the links to figuration are fading. I am excited that the paintings are moving towards abstraction.”
