Summer Open Studios Art Show, May 2013

The dates for the next Summer Open Studios Art Show 2013 are:

• 16th - 19th May, 2013
• Thursday & Friday 2pm – 10pm
• Saturday & Sunday 11am – 6pm

Private View: Thurs 16th, 6pm - 10pm

The 2013 Summer Open Studios Art Show (16th - 19th May) will provide a rare and exciting opportunity to interact with over 140 artists in their own individual creative spaces and buy art directly from them.

Showcasing work from the UK’s newest emerging talent to the well known & established, visitors can experience many of the creative disciplines including painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, photography, printmaking and furniture design.

We are thrilled that acclaimed artist Christian Furr,  the youngest artist ever to have officially painted the Queen’s portrait, will officially open the Summer Open Studios Art Show at our private view on 16th May, 6.30pm

Please come along and join us that evening for drinks and sample some delicious canapes provided by local Italian gourmet food importers, Vallebona Sardinian Gourmet 

         

As a participant of the Wandsworth Art Festival, WAS will be hosting it’s annual ‘Family Fun Day’ on the Sunday 19th May with interactive story telling by theatre company ‘TITCH’  in the afternoon and
and an art treasure hunt for the more adventurous visitors!

With so much going on and Free entry the Summer Open Studios Art Show makes Wimbledon Art Studios 33rd Open Studios Art Show definitely one not to miss.
