Monika's artistic practice is inspired from her upbringing in the Czech Republic, where she was surrounded by nature. This developed a deep understanding and appreciation of the natural world.
Since moving to London, Monika endeavours to seek out enchanting and naturally wild places of beauty to inform her practice. Exploration through world travel and spending time walking enables Monika to explore nature at its best.
Using oil, acrylic and pastels on board, canvas and paper Monika captures the integrity and nuanced environments that she finds herself immersed in.
