Louise paints landscape and still life in pastel and oils. Her principle guiding interest is light; the way it changes and transforms chosen places and objects, whether a railway terminus or tree in blossom. These are transient states and she paints directly in front of the subject.

She has painted extensively in Pembrokeshire, SW France and London and is working on a series of the latter. Further information can be found on Louise's website.
